Relaxed community of gardeners with a range of experience and expertise. Well-connected with like-minded organizations, like Cooperative Extension, local nurseries, Food Donation Network. Organic 15x15 whole plots and half plots to rent; water and tools provided. Plenty of opportunities to volunteer and grow in your gardening knowledge. Reasonable rates and expectations.

One of the many gems in Ithaca specially for kids. Kids can do anything and everything in a safe space. One of the best community projects I have ever come across. It makes Ithaca an even better place to raise kids. Both my kids absolutely relish the place, and so do I.

The Ithaca Community Gardens(ICG) is a great place to garden with an eco-friendly, service oriented, diverse group of people. ICG has been in existence for approximately 40 years and 30 years at its current location at Carpenter Business Park(CBP) on the left just before The Ithaca Farmers Market. ICG has never had land permanency and is once again in a struggle to remain in it's current location due to the sale of CBP. Please help the ICG to remain in place by contacting Ithaca city officials and city planning committee to voice your support! I am voicing my own individual opinion here but feel I should post that I am on the board of directors of ICG!
